MACHINING & ASSEMBLY-READY SUB-SYSTEMS DUE JAN 4TH!!!

Goals

  • Review the state of each sub-system and what's left to do
    • Delegate if necessary
  • Review member availability next term

Required Items

  1. Final CAD → parts are ready to be machined, tolerances are in, fasteners are in, does not break the main assembly
    • Please upload to GrabCAD (sad)
  2. BOM!!!
    • 1 BOM for assembly drawings, another BOM (excel) for Emily purchasing
  3. Part drawings
    • Priority is Demtool drawings. Send for review as soon as they're done
    • Make bonding tubes drawings without the step-down
    • Make a drawing for every part we're getting machined. Carbon fibre tubes can be put into the same drawing file, different sheets
  4. Assembly drawing
    • The goal is to make this detailed enough that someone not familiar with your sub-system can assemble it without you there
    • Reference axis 1 assembly drawings
