A1 Notes

A2 Notes

A3 Notes

  • Belt tensioner: Slots and linear screws
  • Shaft Stackup
  • Current design challenges:
    • High deflection on linkage - need to stiffen

A4 Notes

  • A4 gearbox in line with motor
  • RLS encoder inside bracket
  • Current design challenges:
    • Need to figure out mounting with A5/A6
    • Need to make sure L bracket for A4 win't deform or fail

A5/A6 Notes

  • A5/A6 motors are vertical so that the belt transmission is symmetrical on both sides
  • Current differential is chonky - look to making it smaller
  • broadcoms still need to be integrated
  • Current design challenges:
    • motor mounting flanges will need more support to prevent deflection
    • look to reducing width of entire setup
