Set up login for Health Card Validation

Set up login for Health Card Validation

Please complete these instructions only if your role requires you to validate health cards.

  1. Open Accuro.

  2. Click Menu in the lower-left corner.

  3. Click File then select User Preferences.

  4. Click the Logins section.

  5. If the Ontario EBS entries are missing, click the green plus to add them.

  6. In the window that opens, select Ontario EBS - MUID from the Login Type dropdown and enter 01787 for the Username.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Click the green plus again.

  9. In the window that opens, select Ontario EBS - IDP from the Login Type dropdown and enter gosecure@uwaterloo.ca for the Username.
    Contact your supervisor or the Tech Team to get the latest password.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Both logins should now be visible in your Logins list.

  12. Click OK.

You should now be able to validate health cards.

  1. Open Accuro.

  2. Click Menu in the lower-left corner.

  3. Click File then select User Preferences.

  4. Click the Logins section.

  5. Select Ontario EBS - IDP: gosecure@uwaterloo.ca.

  6. Click the blue pencil icon.

  7. In the window that opens, enter the new password provided by the Tech Team in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Click OK again to apply the changes.

You should now be able to validate health cards.
