Sending Files from Accuro to External Locations

  1. In Accuro, go to the EMR section.

  2. Select the Virtual Chart tab.

  3. Select the file(s) you’d like to send – hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple files.

  4. Right-click the file (or one of the files you have selected) and select Print.

  5. In the Printer Name drop-down, select Microsoft Print to PDF.

  6. Save it to your OneDrive by selecting This PC > C: drive > Users > [your username] > OneDrive - University of Waterloo.

  7. Select or create a folder, name the file, and save.

  8. Once the file(s) have been saved, sign into SendIt with your UWaterloo credentials: https://sendit.uwaterloo.ca/workflow/jsp/logon.jsp;jsessionid=809423DF2E4BCE6A4E898D9F4FE10A4D

  9. Upload the files you saved in your OneDrive and ensure you set a password.

  10. After sending the files through SendIt, send a follow-up email to the individual(s) receiving the documents letting them know the password AND that they have 24 hours to open it.

  11. Go back to where you stored the file in OneDrive and delete the file.
