Sending Files from Accuro to External Locations

Please ensure you have access to the R drive. If you do not have access, map your computer to the R drive following these instructions: Map your Computer to Network Drives

  1. In Accuro, go to the EMR section.

  2. Select the Virtual Chart tab.

  3. Select the file(s) you’d like to send - hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple files.

  4. Right-click the file (or one of the files you have selected) and select Print.

  5. In the Printer Name drop-down, select Microsoft Print to PDF.

  6. For saving, select This PC, then select campuswellness$ R drive.

     

  7. Then the folder Temporary Accuro Files, name the file, and save.

     

  8. Once the file(s) have been saved, sign into SendIt with your UWaterloo credentials: https://sendit.uwaterloo.ca/workflow/jsp/logon.jsp;jsessionid=809423DF2E4BCE6A4E898D9F4FE10A4D if you’d like to learn more about Sendit, please go here: https://uwaterloo.ca/learn-help/guidelines-instructors/using-sendit

  9. Upload the files you saved in the R drive and ensure you set a password.

  10. After sending the files through Sendit, send a follow-up email to the individuals receiving the documents letting them know that they have 24 hours to open it and provide the password.

  11. Ensure you delete those files from the R drive afterward:

    1. Open File Explorer.

    2. Click This PC then select the campuswellness$ R drive.

    3. Click the folder Temporary Accuro Files.

    4. Delete your files.
