Receiving Photos through HealthMail

Please use HealthMail to retrieve photos from clients. HealthMail allows you to easily add photos directly into the clients' chart. HealthMail is the most secure and efficient way of communication.

  1. Open Accuro and log in.

  2. Click the HealthMail icon (lower-left corner) to contact the client.

  3. Click the green plus in the lower-left corner to create a new message

     

  4. Ensure the fields are filled in appropriately:

    1. Message type: Patient Messaging

    2. Office: Pre-populates to the office set for your account (e.g., Health Services)

    3. Delegate: Leave as none if you are a provider—only non-providers should choose a delegate

    4. Recipient: Search for your client (can search by Health card # or Lastname, Firstname not email address)

    5. Subject: Enter the subject of the message

  5. The white box field below will show the thread of messages between you and your client afterward.

  6. Continue to write your message in the Write your message here… field.

     

  7. If you need to attach anything click the paperclip then choose From Computer if the file is saved on your computer or From Chart if the file is saved under their chart.

  8. Click the paper icon next to the paperclip to save the message as a draft.

  9. Click SEND once you are done with your message.

  10. The client will receive an email from Medeo saying that they have an awaiting message for them. If the client does not have a Medeo account, when they click View Secure Message it will ask them to create a new account.
    Medeo is linked to HealthMail. The client must create a Medeo account in order to read your message.
    Message client will receive:
