Ricoh - Adding RICOH Printers on macOS

TO ADD THE PRINTER YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

 Instructions

  1. Download the Printer Driver for your OS version and corresponding Ricoh printer model from Ricoh Support:

    1. http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/re2/model/imc3000/imc3000.htm

    2. https://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc3/model/imc4500/imc4500.htm

At this time (2024-09-23) Ricoh does not have a printer driver available for:

macOS Sequoia (use macOS Sonoma 14.0 printer driver if your device is macOS Sequoia 15.0)

  1. Open the DMG file and then open the included PKG file

  2. Follow the prompts to install the printer driver

  3. Open System Settings

    1. Printer & Scanners and

    2. click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax at the botto

  4. Select the IP tab and enter the IP address of the printer and HP Jetdirect - Socket for the protocol, enter the Name and Location of the printer.

  1. Click the Use dropdown menu and click on “Select Software”

  1. Select RICOH IM C4500 PS or the model that closely matches your printer and click OK

Your printer should now be successfully added.
