Requesting additional lab software for courses

Faculty members and lecturers may request the installation of additional software on public or specialty labs, if arranged in advance with the Arts Computing Office (generally 6 weeks notice prior to the term needed).

Instructors are expected to test the software before it is made generally available. See the list of current software available in public labs.

• Obtain a legal license to publish a copy of the software on the Waterloo Nexus network from the software’s vendor.

• Please fill in the Software Request form to request a service for software installation.
