Installing Ricoh Printer (Windows 10/11)

Pre-Requisites

To add the printer, you’ll need the printer's IP address. Follow the steps in Obtaining IP address of a RICOH printer - Games Institute IT - Confluence (atlassian.net) to get the printer's IP Address.

The EC1-1247-GamesInstitute printer will more than likely keep its current IP address of: 172.25.32.149

 Instructions

  1. Download the PCL6 v4 Driver for Universal Print Ricoh Driver from Ricoh - IM C3010.

  2. Run to unzip in your c:\temp folder.

  3. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & Scanners and click on Add Device.

  4. Click Add manually.

  5. Click Add printer using IP address or hostname then click Next.

  6. Set the Device type as TCP/IP Device and add the IP address obtained in <Insert obtaining IP address document>. Uncheck Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use. Then click Next.

  7. From the drop-down menu, select the Ricoh Network Printer C model then click Next.

  8. Click on Have Disk.

     

  9. On the next popup, browse to the location you unzipped the Ricoh drivers (C:\Temp).

     

  10. Choose the PCL6 V4 Driver for Universal Print option and click Next.

     

  11. Rename the printer to EC1-1247-Games Institute and click Next.

     

  12. Make sure that the Do not share this printer option is selected, then click Next.

  13. Click on Print a test page to ensure that the printer is set up correctly. If successful, click on Finish.
