Task Description
Currently, the team only uses carbon fiber tubes on the drive-train. However, there are ways of using carbon fiber prepreg and custom molds etc. to create more complex shapes.
From a weight savings perspective, shifting our main choice of material from aluminum to carbon fiber will be extremely beneficial.
From an industrial design perspective, using carbon fiber prepreg with molds will also allow us to manufacture more complex geometries!

Task Breakdown
Research the how to use carbon fiber prepreg - equipment required, safety aspects etc.
Research what the school allows/requires/provides for the team in terms of carbon fiber manufacturing
Come up with a detailed plan of how to implement carbon fiber manufacturing into the team - a cost & labor comparison between metal and carbon fiber components will be nice
