System Integration R&D

Background:

The team has experienced many integration issues. Therefore, the content available in this section served as a guide to help everyone set up an easy-to-use platform that can start research and investigations. The goal for this section is to finish the minimal variable product(MVP); therefore, changes listed in the corresponding subteam will still be needed to clean up the product before declaring release.

 

Plan:

All the example codes will be included in the UWRT R&D git repo.

The environment used in this guide is Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS bionic on Jetson TX2.

The ROS distro used in this documentation is ROS2 Dashing Diademata.

Note: There have been a lot of issues in installing the ROS2 distro, but the main issue comes from using an unsupported Linux version. Please double-check the compatibility chart before installing ros.
