  • Get aligned on Peter and Rohan’s goals as PMs

  • Review staring PM proposals on what to work on first


Meeting Notes

  • PM’s can take some tasks off of the sub team leads to allow them to focus on more of the technical aspect of projects

  • Main goals would be to:

    • Improve and streamline internal processes

    • Improve sub team communication

    • Build a more robust structure to help future onboarding and recruiting

    • Establish a great leadership transition process

    • Organize and condense discord (allow for focused conservations)

    • Foster and define a team culture

  • Proposals

    • Goal setting [Future planning]

      • Preferably small ish goals that can be completed in weeks

        • Help teams achieve some “easy wins” to build momentum 

        • Always outline how it is important in the big picture

          • A sense of purpose

    • Subteam check-ins (biweekly?) [Internal Process]

      • Understand the team’s current progress/pain points

        • Discuss possible solutions and support needed

      • Capacity check

        • Need help? Can lend help? Need new project?

      • Potential collaboration with other teams?

      • Report at biweekly meetings

 

  • Discord organization [Internal Process]

    • Reduce the number of total channels

    • Archive unused/inactive channels

    • Condense some channels into one

 

  • Branding

    • Branding can be used to help direct what people come to the team

      • More specific branding on who we are and what we do could help attract the correct people

 

  • Onboarding 

    • Current process?


Action Items

  • Can quickly condense and organize discord

  • Fully integrate with other leads → get aligned and integrate PM’s into subteam lead meetings

  • Hash out priority list and communicate to other subteams → top down priority planning

  • Start talking about confluence planning
