Week 3 Work Summary
This document will serve as a weekly retrospective, similar to the sprint retrospective you will have in the industry. It will help us organize all the progress and documentation you have worked on. This will also help the supervisor improve task planning and collaboration. Don’t be stressed if there is not a lot to put on this document. It is very typical if you just start looking into a new field, try to keep frequent communication with your supervisor, and we can work together.

Significant progress has been made to the design on the drone. Initial considerations proposed a four EDF setup each two with F-35 type trust-vector-control (TVC) control and the other two with F-22 type TVC. In light of regulations regarding the competition, I believe a more practical solution would be to use a dual rotor design with a pitch stabilizer in the aft section of the vessel. Much more progress is to come regarding this drone configuration.

Physical prototype is functional with 180 servo. The hi-tech servo has no problem with yaw control on the system. For full function, a servo with broader range is needed. The next steps include refining the design to allow for metal manufacturing and programming it to track a ground station signal.
