Project Groundstation

Overview:

  • The objective of the project

Requirements:

  • Users able to view the camera from the ground station
    • Overview of the environment
    • Arm end-effector view
  • Receive and process user joystick and one emergency kill switch
  • Update the live status of the rover
  • Able to forward the user keyboard command to the Rover


Constraint:

  • Not a lot of systems are brought up yet, so the interface to communicate need to be flexible


Nice to have:

  • GUI for user interaction

Interface:

  • Computer screen (output)
  • User input:
    • Joystick
    • Keyboard
    • Emergency switch

Design validation discussion
