Task Description
The current A1 base plate uses 4 M8 screws to mount to the drivetrain
There are concerns about stability, so we want to redesign the A1 baseplate (MR22-A1-P0042) to have more mounting holes.
Task Breakdown
Redesign base plate (MR22-A1-P0042)
Ensure new base plate properly interfaces with chassis mounting plate (MR22-DT-P0097)
Update CAD
Select new fasteners, review design
Fabricate base plate

Discussed in-person the backplate with Austin and Chan
Countersink fasteners would be preferred over counterbore fasteners
Too thin the metal (0.125” to have counterbore)
