Deleting a Quiz Attempt

Deleting a Quiz Attempt

There may be cases where a student started a quiz but had issues or complications and you do not wish to count this quiz attempt for the student. One option would be to give the student another attempt using Special Access. However, if you are still within the Start and End date of the class and there is no information in the attempt you need to keep, you can delete the Attempt to allow the student to write the quiz again.

  1. Select Submit from the course navbar and select Quizzes from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click on the dropdown menu beside the desired quiz and choose Grade.

  3. Click the checkbox beside the attempt(s) you wish to delete and click Reset.
