Arm Development Steps:

Goal: To have a functional ver. 1 of the arm before August 31st

1. Determine arm requirements

2. Select an arm concept

3. Determine joint torque, speed and backlash requirements for each joint  

4. Make a basic prototype of the arm

5. Test prototype and establish any flaws

6. Make necessary mods to prototype and test again

7. Design full arm

8. Order parts and manufacture arm

9. Assemble arm

10. Test arm and find any flaws

11. Make revisions to address flaws
