Development Board - S2020 - Christopher Arjune

Introduction

The controller dev board was designed to test a variety of control components, in order to see which ones felt better to use. The board consisted of 2 different buttons, 2 different switches, 2 different joysticks, and 2 different potentiometers. The differences between each pair ultimately decided which components would end up being chosen to be used on the rev1 controller board.

FW Issues

While trying to test the analog components of this board, it was noticed that the serial print feature would not seem to work. After considerable testing, rebuilding FW, recloning libraries, etc., it seems that this board may have a fundamental issue with sending data over the serial TX/RX lines, so it was impossible to test the analog parts. However, the serial issue shouldn't be too worrisome on its own, since the debugging interface used has since been changed entirely.
