SPI LVDS Master Breakout Board
SPI LVDS Master Breakout Board
A board to convert single-ended SPI signals (SCLK, MOSI, MISO, CS) from an ODrive to differential pairs adhering to Low-Voltage Differential Signaling standard (LVDS),
The advantages to differential signals versus single-ended signals:
Environmental noise appears across both the + and - of the differential pair. Since the difference between + and - is taken, this common-mode noise is thus eliminated.
Similarly, noise that these signals destructively interfere.
Signal integrity and robustness is overall improved.
This connects to 2 SPI LVDS Slave Breakout boards, where it is then converted back to single-ended signals for the peripheral to properly receive.
