BeyondTrust support on Mac OS
BeyondTrust can be used to remotely connect to different devices and offers a screen-sharing feature. Please review the article Using BeyondTrust for Remote Help for more information about BeyondTrust.
For the screen-sharing feature to work for Mac OS users, the Privacy settings must be modified as described below.
Step-by-step guide
Open System Preferences then click on the Security and Privacy icon
Click the Privacy tab on the upper-right, then scroll down the left option list to click on Screen Recording.
Click the padlock icon at the bottom-left and enter the admin password to allow changes.
Next, check the option box at the right next to Beyond Trust
Once clicked, the remote screen will be fully in view.
Prior to this, you can only see the desktop background, a mouse pointer moving about the screen, the menu bar across the top of the display and the Beyond Trust window; nothing else. Â
