Change Voicemail Greeting on Skype for Business Queue

In certain situations (e.g., temporary office closure), it may be necessary to change the voicemail greeting on your Skype for Business (S4B) queue to notify callers of the change.

Instructions

To change the voicemail greeting:

  1. Open Skype for Business.

  2. Dial 50000.

  3. At the prompt, click the phone settings icon to access the number pad so you can enter the enter the S4B queue extension number (e.g., 42655).

  4. In the window that opens, it will ask for the PIN to access the voicemail.  Enter the PIN using the number pad, and press #.

  5. When prompted, use the voice command Personal Options.

  6. Press 2 for Record Greetings.

  7. Press 1 for Personal Greeting. The current greeting will begin to play – press 2 to skip and begin recording.

  8. Press 1 to accept the new greeting.
