Access a Shared Outlook Mailbox Online

Do you want to access a shared mailbox and want to do so through your web browser, or are unable to through the Outlook desktop app and need a quick fix? If so, then this article is for you!

Instructions

  1. Open a web browser

  2. Navigate to https://connect.uwaterloo.ca/owa/cecaes##@uwaterloo.ca/ (replacing cecaes## with the user ID of the shared mailbox)

  3. Login using your personal credentials, NOT the generic mailbox's credentials

 

If you receive an error like the one below, it is possible that you entered the wrong credentials on the sign-in page. Try again with your personal credentials. If you are unable to try again, attempt to log in through another browser, or through a private/incognito window.
