 Managing Miro Access

Access to Miro can be managed at the space or project level. Individual access to specific boards can be managed by sharing the board with a member outside the space or project in which it is stored.

  1. To add members to a Miro space, use the invite members option in the top right of the home page. This will allow access to the space.

  1. Individual project access can be managed within the space. The project names will be visible, but boards within will only be visible/accessible to members of the project. This can be done by selecting a space and clicking the plus icon beside the membership list.

  1. Individual boards can be shared using the share function. To do so, select the ellipses next to the board and hit the share option. Access for those with the link can then be selected (edit, view, or comment)

 Importing external boards

Boards from outside spaces can be imported into a new Miro space. This involves creating a backup of the board in it’s home location, and uploading a copy of the backup to the new destination.

  1. To create a backup for an existing board, select the ellipses to open the options dialogue for a specific board. You can then download a copy of the board as a back up. Boards can also be exported within the board using the export feature.
