View on screen is blurry

Have you noticed that the view on some or all of your displays is blurry? If so, follow this article to get up and running again!

Instructions

Try each step in order until your problem is resolved. If your problem is not resolved by the end of the steps, please submit a ticket to Technical Services.

  1. Under the Start menu, open Settings > System > Display > Advanced scaling settings. Ensure that “Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry” is toggled on.

  2. Identify your screens and, within the Windows settings menu, click on the box with the number corresponding to your monitor. Scroll down and make this your main display. To Identify your screens go to Settings > System > Display and click Identify.

  3. Change the dropdowns under Change the size of text, apps, and other items and Resolution to their recommended values.

  4. Restart your computer and any applications you have changed to allow your changes to take effect.
