Meeting Owl
The Meeting Owl 3 is a piece of audio visual equipment that can be used to support hybrid meetings on campus.
It allows for 360 degree filming and audio recording of in person meetings for virtual attendants. It is controlled via the Meeting Owl application on smartphones, available for both Android and iOS.

Using the Application
Download the “Meeting Owl“ application from the app store for your smartphone.
Ensure Bluetooth and discovery of nearby devices are both enabled on your smartphone.
Find your Meeting Owl from nearby devices within the app (“CEED OWL X”).
Select your Owl and join a meeting to use your device and adjust settings!
Audio settings can be changed to increase/decrease noise reduction as needed.
Ignore zone and shift panorama center can be used to set areas of the room that the camera will not broadcast or adjust the focus of the camera.
If the Owl is not displaying, ensure it is connected to power and your device’s Bluetooth functionality is turned on.
The Meeting Owl does not need to be connected to the internet for use - it will need to be connected periodically for updates, but doesn’t need internet for use in meetings.
Using the Meeting Owl
Plug in the USB-C connector into the bottom of the Owl and into the computer.
Plug in the AC power adapter into the bottom of the Owl.
Set your audio (speakers and microphone) and webcam devices to the Meeting Owl 3 in your video conferencing application. If you would like to ensure the Owl is connected properly, make a quick test call to ensure you have selected the right devices.
Determine the best location for your Owl - Place it in a central location where all participants can be seen/heard.
