To access your Microsoft 365 (M365) email account via your browser, with Outlook on the web

1. Go to https://outlook.office365.com/mail/ in your web browser

2. Log in with your 8-character UWaterlooo username @uwaterloo.ca (i.e. myuserna@uwaterloo.ca) and password.

To access your generic (M365) email account via a browser, with Outlook on the web

• If the account is configured to allow you to log in with your personal credentials:

  • please refer to https://uwaterloo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ISTKB/pages/43101127163

• If the account is configured to use the generic account username and password (e.g. generic1@uwaterloo.ca):

  • log out of M365 in your browser, and then go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/username@uwaterloo.ca/   (where username is the 8-character username of the generic account) and log in with the generic account credentials.
