Objective
The purpose of this document is to initiate a mock Product Lifecycle Management documentation for our mechanical system. This document will inform yearly what components have been designed for the rover system and provide development history.
The document will provide the following:
Objective
This document is intended to help direct designers to system development history and improve pointing to design files in confluence documentation.
Not that the year defined is for the competition cycle whence the component is designed for.
Definitions
Template Files: Importable .SLDPRT / .SLDASM files depicting references or processes for further design work
Part Files: Any .SLDPRT files that has been designed and released for the product, testing, or manufacturing purposes
Assembly Files: Any .SLDASM files that has been designed and released for the product, testing, or manufacturing purposes
A released files refers to one that has been imported into the official vaulted builds folder provided it was staged at some sufficient completion.
