Teams Involved: Science and Mechanical

• Science to give mech info on mechanism needs based on test procedures   

•  

  • Aim for mid to end of July  

• Things for science to provide to mech: 

•  

  • Test procedures (all tests to be conducted on rover) 

  • What chemicals need to be on the river (conditions they need to be stored in) 

  • What we need to analyze the samples (ex. camera, sensors, moving components) 

  • Requirements based on test procedures  

  • Cannot be a risk of chemicals spilling or contaminating the ground, must be easily contained  

  • Test procedure for rock testing- if we need a mechanism to pick up samples or just a camera

  • Let them know of any moving components  

• Plan another time to meet once science has a better plan for their tests and what mechanisms are needed  

•  

  • Check first week of July  

  • Meeting mid-July after science research is complete
