Teams Involved: Science, Mechanical, and Electrical

- Went over camera and microscope specs required (see 
  https://wiki.uwaterloo.ca/display/UWRT/Camera+and+Microscope)
- Went over specs of prospective sensors (see 
  https://wiki.uwaterloo.ca/display/UWRT/Sensors)
    - Discussed possibility of getting a spectrometer
        - Reduces number of tests needed to run, could simplify mechanical and 
          electrical systems needed
        - Very expensive - upwards of $4,000 usually, might be worth it based on 
          how much easier it would be to use than the current tests/systems
        - Need to be careful when calculating rover cost and staying within 
          allowed budget for competition
    - Discussed temperature sensor being used - selected based on wide range of 
      temperature sensing capability and simplicity
        - Considering finding an alternative that uses a more common protocol 
          than one-wire (i.e. I2C)
        - Electrical may be able to help with finding alternatives
    - Discussed prospective CO2 sensor
        - Sensor will require a vacuum-seal to be used, difficult to implement, 
          an alternative would be better if vacuum-seal is required
        - CO2 test isn't necessarily required, it would be nice to have it but it
          can be left out
- Discussed prospective soil testing plan (see 
  https://wiki.uwaterloo.ca/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=215747306)
    - Difficulty with heating soil in order to perform reaction to do the test
    - Test takes quite some time (~17 minutes at 90 degrees Celsius), results do 
      start becoming visible earlier which may be helpful
    - More research needed for possible and feasible alternatives
