Change a channel name

All team members can change the name of a channel. It is recommended that the name change is made using a desktop app or web browser, instead of the mobile app. The name change will immediately be updated for all channel participants.

Step-by-step guide:

1. Display the channel list in the Teams desktop app or web browser

2. Open

   

   While hovering over the article you’d like to edit., click the 3 dots displayed on the far right of the channel name.

3. Next, click Edit this channel
