Microsoft Teams is a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. Teams meetings can accommodate 1000 attendees. Visit the Microsoft support site for additional Teams limits and specifications.
Notes:
Teams are available to University of Waterloo employees (i.e. staff, faculty, and graduate students employed by the University), who can use our Jira portal to request a Microsoft Team. Some features require a Teams Premium license.
The Audio Conferencing option is not available to student accounts.
