Improve audio in Teams, Turn off Noise Suppression

In many settings with in-room video conferencing devices, we have found that the audio is much better in Teams if you turn off the noise suppression (the devices have noise cancelling built-in). We have not found the same issue in Zoom meetings.

 Instructions

  1. Once the meeting has started, click on the More (…) option at the top right

  2. Choose the Device settings option

  3. Change the Noise suppression option from “Auto” to “Off”
