Check Skype for Business voicemails

Missed a call in Skype for Business and are not sure of how to find and listen to the voicemail? Read on!

Your Skype for Business voicemails will get sent to Teams and Outlook via email.

Teams

  1. Click Calls and then select Voicemails.

  2. Click the desired voicemail.

  3. To listen to the voicemail, click the play button. You can also read a transcript next to the progress bar.

Outlook

  1. Open your inbox. There should be an email from the caller with a subject line of “Voice Mail (## Seconds)”. The email will contain a transcript of the voicemail and an MP3 file containing the voicemail.

  2. To play the voicemail, right-click the attachment and select Open. The MP3 file will be played through your default audio player.

If you are having trouble finding your voicemail in Outlook, try searching for it. Search for Subject:”Voice Mail” to display all emails in your inbox with a similar subject line.
