Secure Printing

Do you have to print a document but need to ensure that only you can pick it up? If so, secure printing may be the answer!

Enabling Secure Print

  1. Open Control Panel and select Devices and Printers. You may need to change the view to Large icons.

  2. Right-click your desired printer and select Printing preferences.

  3. Under the Job type dropdown menu, select Secure Print. You will then need to create a passcode which will be used to unlock your print jobs. After doing so, click OK, then Apply, and then OK.

Printing a document

  1. On the printer, select Jobs and then Personal and Secure jobs. If the printer is low on toner, you will need to hide the toner message to find the correct option.

  2. Select your ID and enter your passcode from earlier.

  3. Select which documents to print or select Print all to print all the jobs in the queue.
