PC - Making Items Available Online Only

Opening an item or explicitly setting it as available offline will keep a local copy on your device, in other words, they consume storage.

This step can be applied for all of your files by right clicking the OneDrive folder in File Explorer

Open

1. Click on the item you made available offline

   Open

   

2. In the drop-down menu, click the “Free up space” option

Note: You can apply this step to the entire OneDrive folder if you right click that instead.
