Connecting to the VPN: You will now see a second password option on the login and what you enter depends upon what your 2^nd factor is:

• Duo Mobile app: enter “push” (no quotes)

• Yubikey/token:  enter the code generated by touching the Yubikey

• If you have registered your cell/landline: enter “phone” (no quotes), wait for a call and press ‘1’ to accept the login.

• To get a SMS/Text message with a code: enter “sms” and use the code provided as the second password

If you need to add a phone number to your list of devices:

• Add a phone number using the Duo Device Management portal at https://2fa.uwaterloo.ca/duo/dmp .

• You will need to use your current 2FA to get in but you can then add another device (select the landline or mobile phone option).
