Logging in Offsite - First Time (WiFi)

These steps should only be used if you are logging into a domain joined computer for the first time and you are doing so offsite

Step 1: Connect to Wifi

  1. Turn on the computer

  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, as if you were going to log in

  3. Click on the Network Icon on the bottom Right side of the screen

  4. Choose the correct WiFi and connect to it

Step 2: Connect the VPN

  1. Once the WiFi is connected, click on the VPN icon on the bottom right side of the screen

  2. Click Connect on the Cisco window that appears

  3. Log into the VPN using your WatIAM username and password

  4. In the 'Second Password' field, enter one of the following to authenticate for 2FA, then click OK.

    1. For Duo Mobile push: enter 'push'

    2. For Duo hardware token or Duo app: enter your 6-digit code

    3. For Duo Bypass code: enter your bypass code

    4. For Yubikey: enter the code generated by touching the Yubikey

Step 3: Log in

  1. Once the VPN is connected, you can now log in.

  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete

  3. If needed, choose “Other User” at the bottom left side of the screen

  4. Enter in your WatIAM Username and password and press “ENTER”.
