Uploading Files on the OneDrive App

OneDrive hasn’t really changed much from the Windows 11 update except for some new changes in the interface when setting it up. Here is a short guide on how to navigate the new tutorial for OneDrive setup.

 

  1. Click the start menu

  1. Type in the search bar OneDrive, and click the match that says App underneath

  1. Enter your work email and press Sign in

  1. Click Next

  1. Click Choose new folder

  1. Check the folders that you want to upload to OneDrive and press Start backup

  1. Press Next on the following windows

  1. Click Later

  1. Click Open my OneDrive folder. This will open the location to the OneDrive folder

10. The folder will look like this. To add files to OneDrive, drag and drop them into this folder.

11. To access the OneDrive folder again, first click the on the File Explorer app (or use Windows key + E)

12. On the left hand menu, click on OneDrive – University of Waterloo

13. Alternatively, you can search OneDrive – University of Waterloo in the search bar
