Content with GeoGebra
If you are experiencing lag when loading a Mobius Lesson that contains GeoGebra apps, the lag may be caused by outdated cookies stored by GeoGebra interfering with the loading of the application. This page outlines several troubleshooting options you can try.
1. Clear your web browser’s cookies (recommended)
Clearing your cookies will log you out of websites you normally stay logged into; please ensure you know your passwords for these sites to log back in.
First, close all browser tabs and ensure you have fully quit the program. Then, reopen the browser.
Some browsers will give you a selection of specific data you want to clear. In addition to clearing Cookies and other site data, you may also want to clear Cached images and files. You can leave other options unchecked.
See the instructions below for several common browsers.
Firefox: visit how to clear the Firefox cache
Chrome: visit clear browsing data
Safari: visit clear your browsing history in Safari
2. Clear GeoGebra data directly (advanced)
If the above didn’t seem to remove the lagging issue with GeoGebra content, you can clear the data stored for GeoGebra directly. We currently have instructions for Chrome. If you are using another browser, please contact mobiushelp@uwaterloo.ca.
Clearing GeoGebra data in Chrome
First, close all browser tabs and ensure you have fully quit the program. Then, reopen the browser.
Go to https://www.geogebra.org.
Click on the three-dot icon and click More tools > Developer Tools.
