Sign in to Vevox

1. Go to https://uwaterloo.us1.vevox.com/ .

2. Click Login with SSO.

Creating a Vevox session

Follow the instructions laid out at https://help.vevox.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001038317-Create-my-first-session. Be advised of the following defaults.

• By default, the results of a poll are shown immediately after the poll closes. This can be changed in the Features settings.

• By default, participants will be identified and will be required to use SSO (single sign-on, i.e., their UW credentials). This can be changed to Anonymous in the Identification settings.

Linking a Vevox session to LEARN

If you are using Vevox for the assessment of students, you can create a link from your LEARN course to the Vevox Session that will transfer the grade received by each student back to LEARN automatically. See Linking a Vevox Session to a LEARN Course for more information.

Inviting Participants to a session

Several options for https://help.vevox.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001047758-Invite-participants-to-my-session are available. However, if you have created a link from LEARN to a Vevox session, that session will only be accessible through the created link.
