Step by step guide:

Don’t have full editing tools when edit a PDF file in browser:

  1. You may need to click the Sign In button to log in to Adobe Acrobat in your browser

  2. Use your Adobe employee ID ( username@uwaterloo.ca  and WatIAM password)

  3. Refresh or reopen the PDF file

  4. If you don’t see the Sign In button...

  5. From the Extensions menu (puzzle icon), select ‘Manage extensions’

  6. Select ‘Details’ for the Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign extension

  7. Turn on ‘Allow access to file URLs’

  8. Refresh or reopen the PDF file

See a message about the extension requesting additional permissions

  1. We advise that you select ‘Deny’

How do I sign out of Adobe Acrobat in my browser?

  1. In an open PDF file in your browser or at Adobe: Creative, marketing and document management solutions

  2. Select your profile icon in the top right corner

  3. Select ‘Sign Out’
