Issues with ethernet connectivity -Dell docking station

The instructions in this article may help resolve some ethernet connectivity issues with new Dell docking stations.

1. Click on the Start button and type Dell Command. Click on Dell Command Update to open it.

2. Be sure that your laptop is connected to your docking station. Click the blue CHECK button. This will activate your computer to check for updates available.

3. Scroll down past any messages. Ensure that the Recommended Updates box is checked. Click on the blue INSTALL button to install the updates.
   Note: When you run the Dell command for the first time, all available updates will be shown with the checkmark.
   
   

    

4. Restart the computer once the installation has been completed.
