Setting up a forwarding inbox rule for Connect

  1. Go to https://connect.uwaterloo.ca and sign in with your 8-character UWaterloo username (e.g. j25rober) and password.

  2. At the top of the page in the Outlook Web App, select Settings  

  3. Under Options > select Mail 

  4. Select Automatic processing > Inbox and sweep rules 

  5. Under Inbox Rules click on Plus sign 

  6. Under New inbox rule:

    1. Name the new rule

    2. Under When the message arrives, select Apply to all messages.

    3. Under Do one of the following select:

      1. Forward, redirect, or send > Forward the message to

      2. Enter the email address you want in the box, or choose it from your list of contacts.

      3. Choose Save 

  7. Select OK to create the rule.
