OfficeLinx Phone Tree Menu Updates

To update a department phone menu please create a new request ticket providing the following information:

  • date of the required change

  • the menu name

  • phone number

  • details of the requested change

Voice menu records

If the request is for an update of the voice menu records, you will also need to submit a new voice item by completing the following steps.

Note: If you need to update multiple voice menus, a separate call is required for each menu or sub menu recording so they will generate separate wav files

  • Dial extension x84444 for on campus. Off campus dial 519-888-4444

  • Provide your name.

  • Menu name and menu phone #.

  • If you wish to update a sub menu, please specify sub menu name.

    • Examples of menu names: “Main Menu”, “Day Menu”, “Night menu”, “Holiday menu”, and “Language Menu”.

  • Pause for 2-3 seconds

  • Record your new voice item for the specified menu or sub menu.

  • Hang up/end the call

We will send a confirmation via the request ticket once the voice item has been added to the menu.
