Although many gears are specific to each application, many companies also sell stock gears for use in new designs. Often, companies will have an online tool to help with gear selection. A few of these are shown below.

RushGears.com produces a variety of custom gears on short turnaround times. They have a custom gear generator to assist with quoting and gear selection.
