Jira Assets Attributes
Attributes are labels that can be attached to object / data for information.
Types of Attributes
Automatically Created by Jira (Unchangeable)
Name (can be configured to be unique. Text is created by default)
Key (Cannot be changed after the object has been created)

Updated
Custom Creatable Types
Text
Boolean (yes or no / true or false values only)
Integer (number)
Floats (decimals)

Select
Creating an Attribute
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
In the listing of attributes, enter:
Name
Description (optional)
Leave the type as default
Type Value.
Select Add.
Deleting an Attribute
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
Select the gear icon next to the attribute and select Delete in the dropdown.
In the popup window, select Delete.
Configuring a “Select” Attribute
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
Select the gear icon next to the attribute.
Select Configure in the dropdown.
Under the Options tab, enter the text of the option you want to add.
Click add.
Repeat until you have the options you wish.
Click update.
Add a Suffix to an Attribute
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
Select the gear icon next to the attribute.
Select Configure in the dropdown.
Under the General tab, enter a value in the Suffix field.
Show the Sum of Multiple Attributes
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
Select the gear icon next to the attribute.
Select Configure in the dropdown.
Under the General tab, select Show sum.
Creating a Reference for Attributes (Connecting 2 Objects)
There are 2 types:
Outbound: current object to another object
Inbound: another object to current object
Select the schema.
Select Attributes.
In the listing of attributes, enter a Name and Description.
In the listing of attributes, under Type enter Object, and under Type Value select the object type you want to reference.
In the listing of attributes, under Additional Value, select the Reference Type of this reference.
Select Add.
