Add Linked Fields to Jira

To create a linked field properly in a Jira project:
Access Project Settings:
In the left-hand menu, click on Project Settings.
Go to Request Types:
Under Request types, select the request type where you want to add the custom field.
Customize Fields:
In the settings, click on Fields.
You’ll see a list of existing fields. click on + create a field.
Create a Custom Field:
Choose the type of field you want to add (e.g., Checkbox, Dropdown, Date, etc.).
Name your field and configure any additional options as needed.
Click Create or Add to finalize the creation.
Add the Field to Your Request Types or forms:
Once created, make sure to drag and drop the field into the appropriate section of the issue layout.
Save your changes.
Configure Field Context (if needed):
If the field should only be visible under certain conditions, configure the field context or visibility settings within the issue type settings.
