Connecting to Eduroam on macOS and OSX

Eduroam is the on-campus wireless network managed by IST. Connecting to eduroam can be a bit difficult if you don’t know the process. If you need some assistance connecting to eduroam on your macOS or OSX device then read on!

Instructions

  1. Select the WiFi symbol at the top-right of the screen and then select eduroam

  2. Enter youruserid@uwaterloo.ca for the username and use your WatIAM password for the password.

  3. Click join and you will be connected to eduroam. To confirm you are connected, click the WiFi symbol in the top-right. Eduroam should have a checkmark beside it.
