Using your own computer
Get your computer ready to present - powered up, logged in and ready to go.
Connect the cable from the TV to your computer (HDMI cable marked with white tape). If you don’t have an HDMI display port (or adapter) see the Reception area in Dean’s Office (BMH-3104) or Health Computing (BMH first floor hallway to SunLife auditorium).

Wait for the HDMI2 input to be detected by the TV or press the Input button at the top right of the remote until HDMI2 is selected as the source on the screen.
Using a Mac? We recommend setting your display preference to “Scaled” at 1080P or to the size as your laptop screen.

Disconnect the HDMI cable from your computer and neatly wrap and place the cable on top of the podium.
Power off the TV using the remote
Using Video Conferencing
The room has an all-in-one videobar (built-in video camera, microphone and speaker) that can be used with computer-based video conferencing on platforms such as Teams, Zoom, Webex. The unit is mounted above the TV and will appear as a USB input source in your web conferencing software when using the computer in the room.
If you want to video conference using the videobar, use the computer in the room (not a laptop). Please do not disconnect the video camera from the computer in the room. If you want to video conference from a laptop, borrow the "HLTH Conference Camera" or "HLTH Meeting Owl" from the Dean's office.
