How to join a Skype meeting using the Skype Meetings Web app

New Skype Meetings App Experience

1. Browse to Skype meeting URL in a browser.

2. Install plugin (click Run in the pop up window).

3. Join the meeting once plugin is installed, this will pop up a new window.
   
   

   Open

   

   
   
   

    

4. Close the login prompt (or enter your UWaterloo username and password). 
   
   

    

5. If joining as a guest, enter your name and click Join.

6. If joining as a UWaterloo user, click Sign in if you are from the organizer’s company.
   
   

   
   
   

   
    

7. If prompted, check the box for Allow the plugin for our domain and click Allow.
   
   

   
    

8. You have successfully joined the meeting.

Old Skype for Business Web App Meetings Experience

1. Browse to Skype meeting URL in a browser.

2. Install plugin (if required) or Join the meeting.
    

3. Close the login prompt (or enter your UWaterloo username and password). 

   
    

4. Enter NEXUS\username and password, or Sign in as a guest to the meeting.
   
   

   
   
   

   
    

5. You have successfully joined the meeting.
