The University of Waterloo has a research license with Autodesk that includes the following packages:

Create an account

Go to Autodesk education and student access
Click "Get Started."
Select your educational role and click "Next"
- If you select "Student," input your date of birth
Enter your first name, last name, UWaterloo email address (yourWatIAMuserid@uwaterloo.ca) and, a password.
Check the box agreeing to the Autodesk Privacy Statement and Terms of Use then click "Create Account."
Verify your email address by opening the email that Autodesk sends you and clicking on the verification link.

Go to Autodesk education and student access
Scroll down the list of Autodesk products. On the software you wish to download, click "Get started"
Input your details: email, name, educational role, country, and institution
- If you are a student, input your date of birth, enrollment date, and graduation date
Click "Confirm"
You should see a message saying "You're confirmed!" Click "Get Autodesk software"
You should be on the same page: Autodesk education and student access. Click "Get product" underneath the software you wish to install.
Select your operating system, version of the software, and language. Click "Install".
Click "Accept"
Download and run the setup file
